The 6th annual American River Music Festival, September 14~15~16, will present over 25 wonderful live music performances by nationally renowned musicians in 10 locations throughout our friendly river community.
This year’s line-up will include performances by: Roy Rogers and the Delta Rhythm Kings, Dangermuffin, Tony Furtado, Poor Man’s Whiskey, Tom Russell, Wheeler Brothers, Ray Bonneville with Nina Gerber, Joe Craven Trio, Birds of Chicago, Rita Hosking and Cousin Jack, Garrin Benfield, Gordy Ohliger, Michael McNevin, Sourdough Slim with Robert Armstrong, Greg Lamboy, Greg Newlon, Michael Gaither, Bev Barnett and Greg Newlon, Patrice Webb,, Spark and Whisper, Cindy Kalmenson, Zach Byars, Greg Lamboy, Playin 4 Supper and more! The festival offers something for everyone with riverfront camping, a whitewater river trip, a guided riverfront hike, dance parties, great kid’s activities, “live” art, a European style art market, jams, learn shops, excellent food and beverages and an incredible showcase night.
The Sacramento Bee recently named the festival as a Best Choice for “Fun things to do for 2012”, and KVMR Community Radio 89.5 will again broadcast the main stage music live to its listening audience.
