Gracing this year’s stage is El Dorado County’s home grown sensation Jackie Green, plus the Laurie Morvan Band, the California Honeydrops, David Jacobs-Strain with guest Joe Craven, and the Sacramento Blues Revue.

Henningsen-Lotus Park is the venue, and the perfect place to get your blues groove on. Grab your low back chair, swim trunks, hat and dancing shoes! Music goes from 11:00 am – 6:00 pm. Gates open at 10:00am. Enjoy freshly prepared food, craft beers and local wine.

a food booth at Coloma Blues Live El Dorado Arts Council presents this annual party, and proceeds of the fest benefit EDAC’s mission of nurturing “More Arts in More Places” in El Dorado County.

Early Bird tickets are just $35 for adults, and can be purchased on-line or at the EDAC office on Main Street in Placerville.

Celebrate TrailFest and National Get Outdoors Day in Coloma! – I think nearly everyday in the Coloma-Lotus Valley is a reminder to get outdoors and play, but this Sunday is actually National GET OUTDOORS Day! Come Play! Mother Lode River Center is hosting a National Get Outdoors Day Celebration, the LoCol Farmer's Market is open, and it is the 10th Annual American River TrailFest! Ready, Set...Happy Memorial Day Weekend! – Well, the Coloma-Lotus Valley is officially OPEN FOR BUSINESS for the 2013 Summer Season! All the seasonal businesses are open to serve your dining, lodging or recreational needs, the river is flowing and that Summertime feeling is here! So, come catch the buzz! Memorial Day weekend is our official kick-off to the Summer Season. From a bird's eye view, you would probably see a plethora of tents, cabins, RV's, rafts, kayaks, barbeques and families recreating, but from the view of the South Fork American River, you will just see a bunch of people having good ol' fashioned family fun in the great outdoors!
