Marshall Park is open every day, with historic demonstrations on Thursdays and Fridays throughout the year. You can learn to pan for gold at the museum or at the historic Frank Bekeart's Gunshop.

If you are fortunate enough to be able to stay a few days in the Coloma Valley, you can treat yourself to the comfort of a bed and breakfast inn or old-fashioned hotel. See the Food and Lodging pages for options. By May, most businesses are open, but do call ahead to check hours and availability.
