Celebrate Mother’s Day in Coloma!

There are plenty of beautiful places to celebrate Mom this year, but one of your top spots should be the Coloma-Lotus Valley and the South Fork American River! We’ve got it all…

History and recreation at the Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park, Picnicking and riverfront fun at Henningsen-Lotus County Park, hiking or biking at one of our many maintained trails, whitewater rafting or kayaking, camping and fine lodging, wine tasting, local art, live theatre and of course many choices for great food, live music and libations.

Many of our local businesses are hosting special events and treats for Moms this Sunday. The Gold Trail Grange #452 in the heart of Gold Country is offering a special Mother’s Day breakfast from 8:30-11:00, just $6 for adults and $3 for kids under 10. The Hindquarter House, located on Hwy. 49 between Coloma and Cool is also hosting a Mother’s Day brunch. Visit this great, local newsletter for more details on what’s happening around the area:

Most importantly, have a Happy Mother’s Day!
