Founded by Teal Triolo in 2002, Sierra Rizing quickly became the morning heartbeat for the small communities of Coloma and Lotus, nestled next to the South Fork of the American River in the foothills of the Sierras east of Sacramento. With her training under the auspices of celebrity chefs Wolfgang Puck at Postrio, Joyce Goldstein at Square One and Jeremiah Towers at Stars – all well-known restaurants of San Francisco.
Teal gained hands-on knowledge that lends itself to the creation of a wide variety of fine foods and baked goods. Sierra Rizing has quickly grown from a simple bakery to a full-scale catering, breakfast, lunch and dinner operation. Teal is honored to bring a slice of San Francisco’s metropolitan sophistication to the thriving community.

We offer full-service, pickup or delivery catering for casual or discerning events. Specialties include unique, themed dinner menus and custom-designed desserts. Look for us at the local farmers’ market and music festivals.
