January at ART ON THE DIVIDE Gallery
Art On the Divide gallery will have a special section dedicated to student art with changing displays during most months in 2018. Students displaying art in January and February are in the GSHS Studio Arts program, grades 9-12 and range from beginning to advanced levels.
Erica Phillips, visual arts teacher, promises an exciting mix of realism and fantasy from students using graphite, acrylics, Prismacolor and possibly scratchboard. There are drawings, paintings, mandalas, Pointillism and portraits. Art will rotate in January and February.
AODC would like to invite the public to attend a reception to honor these students and their art. It will be held at the gallery on Sunday, January 21st from 2-4. Refreshments will be served.
Winter hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
