Historic Holiday Houses will be held on Saturday & Sunday December 9th-10th, 2017 from 10am until 4pm. We invite the public to come out and see thirteen historic buildings in Coloma that will be open and decorated for Christmas. Each building will feature a period interpreter who will share the unique history of their building. We will have refreshments, wreath making, music, carolers, wagon rides, and Father Christmas will even be in town!
Some of the buildings that will be open this year include the Coloma School House, Saint John’s Church, James Marshall’s Cabin, and the Wah Hop Store. Our Cooperating Association, the Gold Discovery Park Association, will be hosting a fundraising BBQ so enjoy lunch here at Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park!
Parking will be $8.00 per car and the event fee is $5.00 per person (age 5 and under free). For more information please contact our museum at (530) 622-3470.
