Description

We are excited to kick off another Cosumnes River Water Quality Monitoring season. Building on a robust volunteer base and new partnerships, this volunteer program will continue to collect meaningful data across the Cosumnes River Watershed. Whether as a refresher or to learn about this important participatory science program please sign-up for one of the training sessions listed below. We look forward to seeing new and familiar faces at the program training days this Spring!

Please sign up for your preferred training session ASAP as sessions will be limited to 25 people per day. ARC will host additional days as needed. All training days will be held at Wakamatsu Farm. (941 Cold Springs Road, Placerville)

In addition, to our normal monitoring activities, ARC has partnered with Lawrence Berkeley National Lab and UC Davis to collect additional water quality samples in order to monitor, record and model the effects of the Caldor fire on the Cosumnes River watershed.

Training will occur on April 14th and 15th from 9am to 1pm.  You only need to attend one day.
