Description

What: Workshop - "Intro to Field Recording & Nature Journaling" - Paul Godwin and Miguel Noya invite all levels to explore nature journaling through field recording, including post-production techniques. A nature journal is a lens that focuses our attention and crystalizes our observations, thoughts, and experiences. In this immersive experience use audio field recording to extend the notion of nature journaling. Using smartphones as recording devices, practice listening and capturing sounds of the natural world.  Explore techniques to refine the recordings and accompany your experiences with journaling through written, verbal, or sketched observations.
